Part of Lauren's assignment to unlock Key Energy Services and secrets for succeeding in the oil industry was to survey 2,000 experienced oilfield professionals. Her goal was getting advice for rookies in the industry. Hearing back from people in a variety of job titles and company sizes respondents included drilling and service workers, engineers and geologists, small company owners, financial and back-office support, and C-Suite executives. They all share some commonly held beliefs, which speak to the characteristics and culture of the industry.
