Key Energy Services develops and delivers one of the most intensive curricula in the well services industry. The foundation of the learning process is based on the Company's publicly expressed safety philosophy:

The program is a balanced blend of skills and safety courses taught in-house by seasoned Key instructors in each of the company's regions. The classroom training is supplemented by on-the-job exercises during which students wear bright green hard hats to identify them as novices and to ensure that they are provided with all of the assistance they require.

Simulation is another of Key's training innovations and is best evidenced at facilities such as the Permian Basin Training School. There, students learn to operate the equipment on a fully equipped and deployed service rig.
