TOBI's sole beneficiary is Texas Children's Hospital. The organization is in its 16th year of raising funds for the TCH Renal Program. TOBI is the single largest contributor to this program with total donations approaching $650,000. TOBI funds have helped send the children to dialysis and transplant camp, provide computers for activities and learning when patients are in the Dialysis Unit, enrich the healing environment with child friendly furniture and an indoor garden, provide help for indigent families, buy equipment to start up innovative new treatment programs and assist with ancillary funding of patient related research activities.

The Texas Children's Hospital has honored TOBI by naming a patient exam room in the Renal Dialysis Unit The TOBI Room. This room is located on the 8th floor of the Texas Children's West Tower.

TOBI also sponsors a children's fishing trip in the summer and a Christmas Party. The TOBI directors and committee are extremely giving of their time to the Kidney Kids, as they are affectionately known.
